ClassScape NCDesk Installation Information
ClassScape NCDesk was created to support the ClassScape Computer Skills assessment. ClassScape NCDesk is closely associated with the NCDesk suite used to administer the North Carolina Online Test of Computer Skills. To learn more about the North Carolina Online Test of Computer Skills, you can visit http://cskills.ncsu.edu.
ClassScape NCDesk is a collection of small Java programs that replicate common applications and provides an interface to the ClassScape Computer Skills assessment. The ClassScape NCDesk programs perform a limited set of functions and can be used externally from the test.

Install Java 5.0_08 or Java 6.0_02 before installing ClassScape NCDesk - To download the correct version of Java for use with ClassScape NCDesk go to Sun's Java 5.0_08 OR Sun's Java 6.0_02 [required for Vista] and get the JRE. NOTE:Windows 2000 and XP computers may use either JRE.
